an astrology rooted in the wisdom of the natural world

Conventional astrology is often filtered through binary thinking and a desire to control and predict our future, whereas regenerative astrology invites us to slow down, participate in the natural patterns that sustain life, and to repair our extractive relationship with astrology.

reimagining astrology

With the rise of capitalist and colonial systems, outward forms of astrology, divination, and other relational practices were pushed to the margins. These ways of knowing were dismissed as unproductive, irrational, or dangerous because they encouraged imagination, intuition, and connection to forces outside the control of industry and empire. As these systems expanded, so too did the severing of our relationships—to the land, to seasonal rhythms, and to the more-than-human world.

Reclaiming astrology today—especially through a decolonial, feminist, and ecological lens—is an act of remembering and reimagining. It is a way of stepping toward a different world, one grounded in reciprocity, interdependence, and collective wisdom. But reclaiming this art also means practicing it differently. It requires us to look honestly at how patriarchy, capitalism, and colonial thinking have shaped the ways we interpret the zodiac and understand the sky. It invites us to peel back those veils and rediscover astrology as a living, relational practice rooted in the rhythms of Earth.

I’m Jen

I’ve been studying astrology since I was thirteen, guided first by my maternal grandmother—another Virgo. Over the years, this practice has become a lifelong companion, a lens of meaning, and a way of staying connected to the rhythms of the world around me.

My work now is to help open a new kind of conversation around astrology—one that is accessible, empowering, and community-centered. I’m not here to play the guru or the all-knowing oracle. I’m here to hold space for you to explore your own chart, your own wisdom, and your own relationship with the sky. Astrology is a birthright, a shared language that belongs to all of us.

Beyond astrology, I am a writer, and you can find my work here. I’m also a farmer and a caretaker of the natural world, tending land in the high desert of New Mexico. My wife and I run a small micro-dairy where we spend our days doting on our very beloved herd of Jersey cows.
